Needing support when you’re struggling is human. You are never meant to carry things alone.
I am passionate about working with people who suffer from substance use disorders and other behavior addictions that lead to daily interference in one’s life. Some other areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotion regulation, and self-esteem issues. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and EMDR interventions while maintaining a mind-body-spirit therapist standpoint. In our sessions, I apply a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to create a safe, comfortable space for you to practice self-exploration and achieve better wellness.
One of my strategies is to match and adapt skills with each person independently. We work together to learn, personalize, and apply therapeutic skills to you and the stressors that brought you to therapy. My favorite part about being a therapist is building a connection with clients to help you feel supported as you learn to become your own therapist. I have experience working with adults of all ages in outpatient and higher levels of care settings.

What Sets Me Apart
Person Centered Approach
Not every skill works for every person, so I focus on providing and adapting skills with each client independently.
Contextual Understanding
I consider how a client’s current experiences, past history, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with the broader systems they live within, rather than focusing on just the symptoms and current problems.
Lived Perspective
I know first hand what it means to enter therapy and do emotional work.
